This list is not exhaustive of every change, but it notes noticeable bug fixes, project milestones and features.

Version 1.2.0 (Latest)

  • 🧠 Core: The agent now holds a more natural conversation. It understands typed answers to its questions, answers common questions along the way and comes back to where you were, without going round in circles.
  • 🧠 Core: The agent checks before switching to a different request, so a change of mind no longer loses the answers you've given.
  • ❤️ Feature: Get support straight from the chat. Each problem becomes a ticket with its own reference and goes to the help desk, and email replies join the same conversation.
  • ❤️ Feature: Members can follow their tickets and reply from the dashboard, with in-app notifications when there's news.
  • ❤️ Feature: Website quotes now ask what kind of site you need and your rough budget, and the agent suggests similar work we've built.
  • ❤️ Feature: Web scraping is now a service you can request a quote for.
  • ❤️ Feature: Chat replies can be read aloud in a British voice.
  • ❤️ Feature: Staff have a leads list to follow up every incoming request.
  • ❤️ Feature: Ask the agent how it works or what it can't do, and it explains and links to its full guide.
  • ❤️ Feature: The agent's guides are available to other TECSmith sites through its API.
  • 🛡️ Security: Verification codes can be resent and expire after 10 minutes, and too many wrong guesses cancel a code.
  • 🛡️ Security: Upgraded the database layer and other core libraries, with no known security advisories in the live application.
  • 🔧 Fix: Returning visitors who confirm their email now carry on with their request instead of starting again.
  • 🧹 Housekeeping: Added tests that run whole conversations through the agent, and rewrote the conversation guide and service flow documents.
  • 🧩 UI: Showcase apps and websites gained long-form write-ups, and chat replies are formatted more clearly.
