Beginning my employment on the 9th of January 2017, the company was in desperate need of a technical refresh and some modern ideas to bring some productivity and accountability back to the business!
Unfortunately, however, the management team were often unable to make group decisions with some senior staff members allowed to create division.
Below you’ll find a brief timeline of the projects that I undertook whilst I was working here over the course of one and a half years.
Innovating Customer Services
Jan 2017 – May 2017
We needed to centralise all data streams that prospective clients and existing customers were using to communicate through to the company, which included social media and telephone communications.
I was then able to start focusing on an algorithm to sort through the information collected, and categorise it accordingly to be filtered to respective employees within teams who could assist.
Measuring the flow of data, and making adjustments to the algorithm to factor in more detailed trend analysis and forecasting using the Google Cloud Platform to scale and predict market trends… To be continued.
The second part of this project was to aid in sales resources by using the Google Cloud Platform to design and develop an artificially intelligent system capable of interaction with prospective clients and existing customers through the Toye, Kenning & Spencer Ltd. online web store and on social media.
The fruits of this project can now be found on the e-commerce website.

Understand internal manufacturing processes and then implement a system to measure business production and gather market resource.
Jul 2017 – Dec 2017
Recreate main company website and rework the e-commerce platform to work with the new ERP system and backend sales team.
General Data Protection Regulation

Document and distribute guidelines for the GDPR.
