Hello World

Wednesday 18th Nov. 2009

Only one more week to go until Christmas break!

This week should be good though as I’ve only one last assignment to complete – my UCAS application online!
Today I had a meeting with the person in charge of the Access to Higher Education study course, and we spoke at length regarding how far I’ve come.

It’s really nice to hear from someone other than the person inside you that you are doing well and how positive my future is looking. Fair enough, I still need to sort out my time management more efficiantly, and get those deadline days in check – but considering my life in the last nine weeks – it’s like II’ve been reborn and given a second shot at succeeding!

Well, I guess I better crack on at printing out and filing my homework ready for my allowance deadlines my various tutors set for me this week…

Thursday 19th Nov. 2009

Finally caught up with all the maths assignments I was set last week, so I’m now on the same page as everyone else (w00t!).
I can tell my tutors are impressed with the way I’ve caught up, as no doubt many o them thought I’d struggle – pfft!

I’ll continue working on my T2G assignments now I think – it’s going to be a late one tonight as I need to catch up now with this instead. Honestly, I swear I’ve set myself up for no social life what-so-ever this year.
However, on the plus side by 2012 I’ll have some awesome degree’s and I’ll have the option to take a year out of university to relax in a work placement within a gaming studio (high hopes enabled!)…

Friday 20th Nov. 2009

Got up today really tired, and almost skipped first lesson!
Note to self: Must take medication before 12am in future…

The day was good though, and my double maths lesson in the morning flew by!
Today we were told by our group tutor that we needed to start our own project at the start of next term, which will go on until June 2010!!

Thankfully I’m fairly certain what my project will be about… Game Hacking/Development of course!
Well, I’m going to stop typing here because I’m shattered and my medication is cutting in – night folks!

Wednesday 11th Nov. 2009

Another day.

Feels like I’ve been here for ages now.
Both pupils and teachers are still very supportive, and I’m getting through these assignments like there is no tomorrow!

Not long until Christmas now, so you can pretty much guarantee that there will be a hard push to get things in before then – with the possibility of receiving more course work to do over the half-term…

Still… I will try my best to keep juggling T2G with college work as well.
It’s been a busy year so far…

Assignment hand-in day!

Given in a few assignments for marking, I always love getting feedback. Whether it’s from making online communities, releasing a game hack, or telling the world my day to day activities – feedback is always a good thing!

Next week I’ll have had all my current assignments marked, and I hope to learn much from the experience as I move on through the course.
My folders are beginning to feel a lot more weighty with more content added to them almost on a daily basis!

Friday 13th Nov. 2009

For many this day symbolises bad luck… For me though it’s just another day at college! lol

We’ve had yet another busy week, filled with tutorials, assignments and hand-ins. It’s good though because I find myself learning how my own brain works – and habits that I’ve gotten into over the years of dealing with certain issues or problems.
It’s pretty deep, but at least there is always room for improvement, and college is certainly showing me that prioritizing workloads and managing myself efficiently is key to my success!

Wednesday 4th Nov. 2009

A very busy day today, as I’m playing catch up now – a lot of the work is to be handed in next week!
I doubt I’ll be able to celebrate bonfire night this year, but if I keep thinking about my end goal it’s not to bad…

I went to the library after college to continue working on projects and assignments… Maybe there is hope yet for bonfires night after all!

Thursday 5th Nov. 2009

More assignments!?
Either I’m getting punished for something or there is tons of work to be done to get this diploma…
I prefer thinking that the later is true, because if it’s to make an example of me it’s working already!

Spent another day in the library to finish off assignments. I think I’ve earned my night out tonight, and besides, there’s no college tomorrow!!

Friday 6th Nov. 2009

A day off well given!
Last night was great, bonfire night where I live is taken very seriously with loads of events happening all over town. Many things were blow up and burnt – it was a right laugh!!

The grand processions through the high street were good, and everyone seemed to be having an awesome night.

We all went to a friends house to carry on the festivities by drinking ourselves into an intoxicated stupor! (lol)

Wednesday 21st Oct. 2009

My ankle is still really bad today, and I’ve made an appointment with the doctors again to write me out a sick note to prove that I’m not bunking my lessons.

I’ve been given some new ’special’ cream to apply to the wound, I’mm hoping that by tomorrow or friday I should be able to grab all that I’ve missed, and carry on with studies..

Until then, I’m continuing my T2G home study course in the hope that i can better that 90% score of the last TMA.

Thursday 22th Oct. 2009

This morning my foot felt a lot better than it has done in a while.
I made it to college, and was given loads of support to get me back on track… Plenty of work for me to do – even some which has to be handed in tomorrow (eeek!).

I better cut this short, as I’m really up against it now and have to finish off these assignments for today.
Here’s looking to tomorrow with the hand-ins… Fortunately it is alo going to be my last day for one week, as half-term approaches (yay!).

Friday 23rd Oct. 2009

Today was great, loads of hand-ins and a few assignments to do over after half term (next week).
I’m getting back into the grand scheme of things now and I can’t wait to receive the results from my work.

Looking forward to next week, nothing to do – chilling out and gaming with friends, with the possibility of getting drunk and not giving a crap about whatever! (lol).

… And that’s it really, don”t expect me to be updating this part of my blog until at least the 31st!
